We recently received SALSA certification for standards in food safety and hygiene. Food safety is our top priority and we are proud to have been tested to the highest level and passed. Salsa is covers all areas of food safety, from before the stock enters the premises until it is delivered into the hands of our customers.

In order to be granted this certification we had to prove to an independent auditor that we are committed to maintaining the SALSA standard that goes above and beyond what is required by law.
SALSA accreditation ensures that your food is not only as fresh and ethical as possible but also reaches the highest standards in safety.
Although we now have SALSA accreditation we need to stay vigilant when it comes to food safety. This is why we have an in-house HACCP officer who keeps everything up to date, but we have also enlisted the help of Carl Challenger.
Carl, was a local EHO for Lewes council and is now a food safety consultant. He carries out quarterly audits of the site to make sure we are always moving forwards.
